Every year people express their love for that special someone on Valentines day. There would be a special date between two people with dinner and excitement. A big tradition is when valentine cards are given to each other. An individual would give a box of chocolate to their love. This annual event doesn't really cost a lot compared to December Holidays. Valentine's day is celebrated even if you don't have a romantic partner.
In 2021, Valentine's day will be impacted by COVID-19 for the first time. There are stay at home order around the world forcing people to stay home. Countries that currently don't have stay at home orders don't have any recreational places open for dates to limit the spread of the coronavirus. You can't even go near anyone because you never know if someone is COVID-19 positive. This is going to be a very rough Valentine's day for people who want to do something romantic.
Despite COVID-19, there are ways that your Valentine's day could still be romantic and awesome. If you want to date someone who is not in your household, then you must self-isolate for 14 days, if you begin to have any symptoms then you shouldn't meet with the other person. You can give people Valentine cards by mail or email. If you are on a date with someone and you both passed 14 days of self-isolation, then you could get delivery food and watch a movie from home. If you didn't self isolate for 14 days and still want to have a date, then the only option would be a virtual video date.
Let's hope that this is going to be the only Valentine's day impacted by COVID-19.
Happy Valentine's Day
